Scared of Santa ...

I was never scared of santa or anything, I just wondered wtf was going on when I was presented to the big red bearded guy for a photo.
Anyone had any experiences?

btw some of those santas look pretty fucking evil if you ask me. they'd never get to go near a child of mine let alone hold one

It is pretty common for little kids to be scared of Santa. Basically all year we tell them not to go near any strange men and then at Christmas we tell them, yeah go on darling go and sit on that fat man with the huge beard, it'll be fine, you might get a nice little surprise.

No wonder they're so confused.

I know that believing in santa is all part of being a young child, but part of me feels really guilty about such blatant lying to my 3 year old.

Perhaps I should have put spoiler tags round that bit

Oh and I'd have to say that neither of the kids in 9 look nearly scared enough.
