I been looking into sc gear templates for a few days now, hard time making up my mind...

I noticed that if you like a skill of +6 to polearm for example that it takes more imbue points to add one +6 skill gem instead of two +3 skill gems. Is it possible for example to have a polearm with the following skills on it

twice +3 polearm
twice +4 parry

this polearm wouldnt be overcharged and would have a utility value of 70!! i was just wondering if it's possible to add two gems with the same skill to an item?
making same polearm with a gem of +6 polearm and one of +8 parry is impossible

You can't imbue a skill or stat twice on an item.

So it's impossible to have +3 pole twice on a polearm or item.
Each imbue slot has to be a different stat/resist or skill.

Hate to ask again, but is that true?

So you'll just have to put some parry and polearm on another item. The most cost efficient imbuing template is to have all 4 slots full with the same cost to imbue gems e.g. 4 7% resist gems.

Personally I'm planning a nice MP 16.5 dps Long dirk with +4 thrust, DW, Parry and 5% body resist for an imbue of 34/32 and utility of 70!
