I have a spellcrafter @ 1003 skill.
Does anyone know if the odds of success overcharging items continue to increase beyond 1000 skill?

Thanks in advance!

Over 1001 skill the main factor with succesfull overcharging is the quality of the gems.
On a 5.5 point overcharge i always use 2x99% and 2x98% and ive never had a blow up yet (touch wood cos im doing a full set of 5 point OC in 10 minutes :p)

Also if your only putting 3 gems onto an item , bear in mind that the empty slot is classed as a 94% gem so has a greater chance of blowing up.

Nice one :)

You may well have saved me a load of time then, was labouring to make MP jewels, but since so far I only got one, i'll go for some 99/98's...

(and I won't blame you if I go pop! )

MP gems? youd be there all week :)

You also dont have to have 2x99 and 2x98 , you could have say 3x99 and 1x97 , aslong as the quality of all 4 gems add up to 394 (as in 99+99+98+98=394) you should be fine.
