SC OC question for 1.62

any know the changes for overcharging in 1.62?

intrested in anychanges really. I wont be in game for another 2 weeks so I have time for the guinee pigs to blow up a couple of times

no really I'd like to know if theirs much differences in all overcharging up to 5 point OC

thanks...

(btw I know the patch wont be out for a couple hours or so but I want to know if any have heard anything from US servers etc.)

I heard that a 5p OC would be next to impossible in patch. glad its not.

My first piece 99% i overcharged 5 pnts since patch blowed up. used 99% gems as usual and sofar i never blowed up before. I did 5 pnts overcharge at skill 800 without any trouble so it looks like 5 pnts overcharge is not safe anymore even at 1000+ skill and 99% gems

Done 6 full 32 gem 99% Sets after the patch with no problems.

Only time Ive ever boomed is using a 5 point OC with 2 gems on MP Spear & MP Sickle, apparently this is quite common.
I would suggest to anyone thinking of a 2 gem item fill all slots.

Guess Stange was just unlucky :/

Using less than 4 gems on a high OC usually results in a BOOM.

Taken from the US vnboards

did 9 pieces today, 99 qua, using 98+ gems.

No blowups.

I went as low as 99,99,98,98 - 5pt OC

I have noticed no changes in spellcrafting.

Armolas did 4 point o/cing for me with no 99% (or no deliberate attempt to make them anyway) with no touble. He was more concerned about the 3 point o/c on a shield with only 2 slots filled.
