I'd reduce hit to 198 and increase one of the resistances on the chest piece.

quickness aint that important (imo), ill rather tweak a bit those resists.. specially trusth since chain is vulnerable.. I lowered a bit crush on mine since its resistant ;D take a look: (still missing the belt tho)

for a slash minstrel wouldn't quick be more important than dex? I know it effects blocking and evading slightly, but more swings of a weapon seem better than an evade every 30 hours of RvR.

Managed to get my minstrel the 50/30/30 spec, and with a little tweeking from quests and OTD, using standard L50 epic armour, a crafted sword and shield I now bost the increased stats that make 59/41/41

Until more cash is avaliable, the epic armour has nice resists and bonuses, can't really see any reason to change.

dex affects ur "to hit" bonuses.. its rather important imo. quickness affects swing speed (altho lowers style bonus) and evade rate so its the stat to sacrifice imo

Thats what I managed with MP shield/gloves and rest 99%.
I don't have SI so was stuck with crappy bracers but I can email you the whole config slo.
11slash with s/s out - cap instru when drum is equipped - cap stealth by swopping belt.
Dex is not for damages as someone suggested(maybe they were thinking thrust)
imo minstrel should cap in the following order: str/con/cha/dex/qui.
the spirit resist is because if I run into a SM solo he's dead. If I run into a grouped SM and manage to be pbaed I'm dead anyway (note racial is also 5% spirit.) Lower crush because chain is resistant - cap slash (main enemies ie shadowblades) and cap thrust because we are vuln. I'm sure it's possible to have an even better setup with the SI bracers which I cannot get.
Matter is the only thing I don't like about my template ): but with the SI bracers I'm sure some more could be fitted in.

Mine, I like it (wearing it currently). Slightly weird sword / hauberk cos they're similar to sidi items, all resists are 22+ with racials.

Hmm, I miss qui. My SC suit has zero qui on it bar some on a bracer- I have 59qui unbuffed. So, OK, I can get some big hits but frankly I'd rather hit faster....

hmm, most templates seem to include big stealth

when i have flute equied i only have 5
since i have 50/39/18 i was thinking +stealth wouldn't safe me anyway

i like quickness and i tend to evade 1 or 2 times in a fight which is not to bad

if i could just remember to not attack druids with 2 instas up :-/

I have 30 base stealth, so 44 with items and RR. +stealth is worth it imo.
