We all know shadowrun is gimped.

I had an idea today, inspired by my love of xbowing greys

Replace Shadowrun with Shadowstrike: 30 secs ability to attack with throwing knives in stealth and not lose stealth! Ofc normal attacks uncover the SB, but free 30 secs of ranged attacking would be nice and fun. Thoughts?

I'd also make vanish available to all assassins. In that case infs would need a special unique ability, but I need to think for another. Infs could get shadowstrike and SBs something else even, I'm open minded.

Archers don't get a 'unique' RA, they get the archer only Truesight ability so why not apply the same to Assassins? Ditch shadowrun and give all assassins access to either Vanish or Viper (not both). Or simply remove SH, Vanish, Shadowrun and Viper and give assassins access to TS (at a lower cost or extended timer due to the range disadvantage compared to archers).

Edit: Forgot to include Longshot and Volley in the archer specific RAs (but they're just fluff anyway ;) ) so maybe give assassins TS and either Viper or Vanish.

two reasons SB's shouldn't get "shadow Strike"

throwing knives are utterly useless for anything but pulling. The damage is so low that people will prolly regenerate just as fast, using arcanium throwing knives on a lvl 50 player my shadowblade does some 15-20 damage. I don't know if crossbows is the same, but I think they do more damage.

secondly, no one should be able to keep attacking someone and stay invisible (stealthed), even if the damage is ridiculously low, people should always have a chance of defending themselves

no I'm sorry, keep the ideas coming, but I'd rather prefer to not get shadowrun then :)

Didn't realise the knives were pitiful :/ Was thinking it might be 100-150 damage every 4 seconds, which would give free 700-1050 on an opponent in 30 secs, which would be nice.

I'd be happy to be honest if they gave all assassins vanish, but with shades getting WA and viper then infs and SBs would ask for something too.

Please stop making assassins even more overpowered compared to non-stealth chars.

They already got insane debuff-poisons, snares, DoTs, diseases, stealth (the best defense there is in game) and now you wanna give them this too?

Any idea what 700-1050 damage is on a mage? Remaining stealthed means no chance of retribution.

If there's something SB (and NS and inf) need it's a big nerf to put them in line with the rest of the classes..

Originally Hunters were due to get True Sight, Rangers Volley and Scouts Longshot, but there was much whining so all archers got all.

Hahaha, thats some b**ls**t! Originaly Longshot and Volley were ment to be bow _styles_. They were included in the original class description of Hunters, Scouts and Rangers but Mythic removed all traces of evidence on this.

Suggestions for SB RAs <choose one :p > :

- Increased chance to crit in CS line < maybe 50%-75%crit on 20 min timer >

- Damage ward or Damage add < 10-15 min timer >

- off evade, Style with 9 sec stun, called something along the lines of "Press meh 4 teh winnzor".

- Faster restealth timer

- HP regen for 30 secs <on 20 min timer>

....just some basic ideas, not thought through properly.

This one seems perfectly in line with Mythic imho... other realms get it for free, we have to spend rp's for it. ;)

My guesse would be 14 p cost , with a pre requisit of mastery of water 3 , then we can all pretend we are navy seals..or Flipper..what ever you prefer....

not many SB`s spec LA at all now and if they do its only to the low to mid 20`s

unless there after LA`s only 1 win style Frosty Gaze

Regardless how an SB specs now, when you loose a fight fully buffed vs an equal rr infil even after landing the PA/CD chain totaling almost 800 dmg. No ammount of love/RA`s will help out without a complete overhall of the class and style lines.

LA needed some "fixes" specially for zerkers, but sbs werent that overpowered. 30% damage was removed from them. thats a lot, it should be 20% or something like that...now feel the pain of bms and merc with the ubah cd and dw styles :/ the sbs i fought with my ranger pre nerf were powerful, but i still won some fights. however i stand no chance vs a infil or ns.

6 spd axe... wow. Give imo. You whined about SZ yer great but tbh u have a far more overpowered assassin class in ur own realm. You go for the sarcasm about how the rogue class should be able to out tank a main tank?? well ive seen infs do this plenty yet i dont see any nerfs thrown their way...... and for the life of me I don't understand why that is. Imo a 9 second stun off evade is far more powerful than anything the SZ ever had up their sleeve.
