is it wort it or taking weapon to 50?

Never knew they had a dmg shout? But I think you mean the taunt shout... (taunt, no damage)
If you're going H2H you need 50 in H2H, yes. The higher you got in that weapon skill, the higher is the chanse of getting quad, tripple and quad hits ..

50 pts in H2H
42 pts in Savagery
9 pts in Parry

This is best spec iMO.

The 49 dmg shout is really just an option if you do go Hammer. The Axe and Sword lvl 50 styles is just too good to miss out on.
And hth you want high for the ws.

50 weapon if hth, sword, axe and 39-42 savagery
and
44 weapon and 49 savagery if hammer.

Just my opinion.

Going hammer atm. so will try out the 44/49 spec.
axe/sword just eating my end when i got a aug healer in group.
end regen 4 and im out of end after 2mobs with axe/sword.

Well, hth is str/dex based.
But with high dex you will evade like everything =p
And with trolls you will only evade like 70%.

capp is 50% for assasins if il read right in patchnote ... and Savage isnt a assasin

cap is for everyone only assasins (and maybe frairs) could actually hit 50%+ evade so thats why it was stated with assasins, same thing is with see hidden nerf allthough it says it under the archer but minstrells enjoy of the weaker see hidden too .
Its just that savages didnt exist when the patch came in so otherwise they would have been mentioned as kobby savages hit the cap with dodger2, lvl 37 evade buff and high dex/quick.

But not sure if a troll does as he has 70 points less in dex and quick combined. So as troll you might wanna go for the lvl 45 evade buff.

That's spec I'm aiming for...and BTW today I got Quint hit (5 Hits! ) against yellow mob ...at lvl 35...

I put 10 pts each into Str/Con/Dex...ask Zath or Ceve, both 2H-specced, how H2H Trolls can do......I was pulling aggro off them with Detaunt styles .

ATM I just have Aug Str/Qui/dex 1.

Made a log of the 5 hits? Not sure they even exsist, think I get them but check log then there is quad + unstyled normaly

Yep, my savage is with same spec .. and it is BEST .. caus , my friend sarys got 18 in parry and he still parry once in a day or smth, so no point to get so much to parry

Svartmetal, if you are pulling aggro with detaunts you where prolly the only one with protect on healer, or you accidently pressed taunt, or you forgot to actually use detaunt, or they had crap weapons+stats, it was not because you where a troll.
The difference betwean a troll h2h and a kobbie h2h isnt much in damage since h2h is based str/dex not pure str.

I whould go either kobbie or norse female, both are good at getting hit by bad players so more usefull in zergs and against bad FG:s. and speccing more than you have to in parry is a waste, most people will be hitting you either side or behind (unless you actually stop and start beating on a tank for some reason). And if i where you i whouldnt go 2h either, most good grps tend to have someone guarding what you hit, and except from that the probability that 1 of 3 savages triple or quad within 2 secs should be pretty high, making h2h savage teams virtually impossible to do anything about. The stun styles are also very good, far more use than anything 2h have to offer imo.

I see your point, but I was in the middle of nowhere in Gripklosa Mountains (i.e. no bugger around for miles, sort of thing) and there was no lag around that I could see...it certainly seemed all-at-once, and believe I was watching that fight VERY closely given how close to dying I was on several occasions (agged on to by Myling following fight with orange Morvalt).

I'm sure I saw another Savage player talking about quint hits in this server's RvR forum...a while ago though, can't remember who it was.
