Savage spec?

well im thinking of making a savage.

it seems to me that you either go:

50 h2h, 42 savagery and 9 parry

OR

44 h2h, 49 savagery and 4 parry.

the first one gives more quad etc hits due to higher h2h spec. the second one gives the last dps buff.
Any help, hints etc?

if your going h2h go 50 h2h no questions asked. there is no point going 49 savagery with h2h because you cap your weapon speed even with the slowest h2h weapons using the lvl 35 haste ability.

not only that but h2h weaponskill is approx 10-15% lower than the same spec in a normal weapon ie axe/hammer/sword so getting h2h 50 is a must to improve your chances against shield and high parry users and most importantly assassin evade rates. The one good thing about h2h is your not hit that hard when an assassin uses an str/con debuff on you due to h2h weapons being 50% str/dex.

Going by information i have read 50 h2h weaponskill is around 1100-1200 and 50 hammer/sword/axe is around 1300 ish so there is a difference, and depending on the style of play you like you may prefer going for a normal weapon type for easier use to you can stick with h2h for a challenge and ofc the possibility of dishing out some serious pain.

50 h2h if u want a little challenge, quickbar twisting and fun .

I am personally Valkyn: 50 h2h , 40 savagery (last slash resist) and 15 parry .

At rr2l7, noob as i am still: 150 STR , 200 DEX, weaponskill unbuffed is just 1106, buffed bout 1500.. . Have no trouble hitting enemy in rvr so far really, high miss rate , where ?

2handed is no brainer really .. *nearest enemy* , *stick* and whack with all u got... great damage, just scary when i see Skren near me, feels like he is 3 shotting everything

So i'd say h2h if u like to use ur brain once a while, 2handed when u simply want to own everything

my savette is going 50 swood, 42 savagery, 6 parry (or 9 whatever it is)

i dunno but i would think a 2h savage would want the fastest possible speed buff when going 2h.
But sword lvl 50 style is also very uber. i would only spec like 42 savagery if going sword for ragnarok other wise id suggest hammer 44 and 49 savagery, i think that adds up ok .

and ofc u want troll for 2h cos savages gain no extra str (or a tiny ammount) when leveling up.

i duelled my mates 2h norse savage (both of us SC to the max) and although its very close i always win (2 dot procs really does own almost perma they are dotted )
