Saturdaynight RvR - Report from Salazzar

Well what can i say Albion it was a pleasure to lead you all, it is nice to see how many people came together to stick it to our old Foes the people of middy land.

We started out well with first target of getting a CS up at Hlid, middies came on strong and we almost lost it straight away with an agressive assault from middies . But our illustrious Pl leader, Laird led a charge down the hill to clear the nasty mids away.

We then took bled and notts in quick sucession, we then turned our attention to the power relic, this did not turn out quite as planned . Great speedy defense by mids drove us off after we took the first door down and did some damage to inner tower door.

Licking our wounds we headed back to hlid to regroup and start afresh. we then decided it was time to redecorate some middy keeps with some nice Alb flags, this started the running battles with the mids all over there frontier. I would like to thank mids in all seriousness for a stout defence, you made it a most enjoyable night.

once we had a few keep we decided to hit str relic keep doors for the hell of it, as the middies were claiming there keeps back in double quick time. We tried tog get back to hlid in time but all in vain. not quick enough.

once again to all the organisers and people who participated tonight albs and mids thanks for a memrable night of DAOC.

Thanks to the leaders - was good to see you kept to your strategy though some people were constantly moaning
It was the first time EL participated in a relic raid/keep destruction rally *g* here on Prydwen and i gotta say: it was great fun. The most important thing of all is fun, thats why we all play the game (or most of us). We were surprised when we got the invitation as we have not been really active in RvR due to the fact that we started on Prydwen not too long ago and most of us did not hit even 50. But you will see us around often, be sure.

The only thing that sometimes was quite annoying: people always complaining about leader decisions. Remember: everyone if there because you wanted to. If you are not happy with the leaders, you are free to go. But please please please do not spam the chat with useless moaning.
The most important thing to get a relic raid or another event going is: LISTEN to the leaders, do what they say and keep the chat spam-free so important information on incoming enemies/keep status etc. will be seen the first time said.

If you have any suggestions, you can as well PM someone of the leaders instead of confusing people in the chat with orders differing from the leaders instructions.
Though we have not been able to take the relics, we at least showed them how we felt in Renaris the last 2 weeks.

P.S.: By the way Mids - as you really seemd to have liked our visit...what about a date every night, same time, same place. Guess you will have to mortgage Mjollnir soon *g*

It was actually nice to see that you Albs were able to put up some action again.

Ohh, and about the payment... We´ll happily date you every night but don´t forget that Midgard is kind of the modern minded realm that demands and equal share of the expences....so even though you´re the bitches, don´t always expect us to pay for the fun every time.

Ps. I take it that you did repair your power relickeep before you attacked us? I hope you did, cause you bitches will be paying for the next date!

aye we repaired power relic doors.. was time consuming and expensive as it was a last minute thing.. Laird overlooked the fact they were still open and about 2hours before the raid i was in snowdonia and checked on door condition to find they still open... was lot of running about, lots of hush hush money gathering to as most of alliance didnt know we were relic raiding, mainly only officers knew... But we got it done in end due to some fine co-operation between guild officers, which i would like to thank for a speedy response to my notification.

This raid went to show what we are capable of as a realm. And this is but a start, a few more times of this and we be set to soon walk away with the final 3 relics which are rightfully ours

Yes it´s nice to see you albs are waking up, almost begun to think you all had fallen asleep in some forgotten portal keep in Llyn Barfog or something like that.

BTW It´s you that have our relics, not the other way around.
