Company looking to re-locate offices, unfortunately the new offices are in the middle of nowhere. We're in need of a broadband connection, and we've been looking into satellite connections.

Pricing is a bit ott, but more than anything we're bothered about connectivity - Does anyone know if it's any good? I'm talking bandwidth more than latency - Quaking isn't a regular thing here

What about service level, what affects down time?

There are two types of satellite broadband, you either use a 56k phone upload and a standard satellite adaptor connected to the dish for download, or you can get special setups that transmit and receive using the satellite dish only.
