How much do i need in Metalworking before i can salvage Emrald Seals?

600 to salvage, and more to hinge the reulting admantium fast and effective (700).

It may not be the most cost effective, but I like to buy Emerald items that salvage for Asterite instead, like most other salvage stuff.
In that case, you'd need 700 for any kind of salvaging (at yellow con), 750 for hinges that is thus twice as fast, and 800 for grey con so it goes another 2 times as fast.
My advise is to try and get to 800, so you can salvage any kind of seal item
