S&S Paladin Template

I've been trying to come up with a solo S&S Paladin template for a while now that was better then my current one. I've had another bash, and am relatively happy with the result.

The ToA bonuses are pretty good, as are the stats and hits. There are a few issues though. Three of the resists are terrible, I've had to use GOLM over EDS to get the ToA melee bonuses up, and it doesn't use SoM. I use SoM ATM, and am not sure whether swapping it for FAS is a good move, but the new template has a lot more +Con, +Dex and + Hits then my current one so it's difficult to judge.

But surely you can look at the two templates and suggest which is better? That's all I am after TBH.

Personally I'd go for the one with Shades of Mist in it, cos it's got Shades of Mist in it.

Paladin fights are long, so you'll be getting that proccing a fair bit, and each time it's 200 hits avoided, easily outweighing the higher Hits of the first template.

Imo s/s pally is all about survival, ie hp/con cap and resists :p 20 more str wont do much on hybrid 1h dmg :)

With respect, I think you're wrong. 20 Str is a nice increase in WS, so that'll allow me to bypass my opponents defences with greater regularity, whilst making it more difficult for them to bypass mine.

Anyway, even though the damage may be Hybrid damage, I still want to kill the fookers, so the more Str the better TBH :)

All very nice, except Dex is far too low. I wouldn't consider a solo S&S Paladin template without at least 95 Dex. Afterall, more Dex = more blocking = less damage for you to take.

I should have elaborated. Is it for FG or solo? for FG the pala's dmg isnt what makes or breaks the fight, but his survival could very easily be ;)
