We are going to ask lvl50 volunteers to come along and have their services for an evening auctioned off to the highest bidder. The purpose is to collect funds for keep doors and relic repairs.
Fancy a high level healer or shaman to help you or your guild level for an evening?
Fancy getting exclusive use of a legendary grandmaster crafter for the evening?
You could hire your own WoW hunt if you have the cash and you'd get all the drops.
How about a lvl50 SB to farm rp for you for an evening or to hunt down that scummy grey ganker that has been annoying you.
You could have a Spirit Master to erm, ah, uhhh... see if they have any useful alts.
The possibilities are only limited by the imagination of the bidders.
Slave volunteers are asked to be available for 3 hours after the auction. They can stay online longer than that, but given the amount of gold people will be spending this seems reasonable.
I know charity slave auctions have been done before in real life, in other games, and indeed in other realms in DAoC, but this seems like a fun way to generate realm funds.
Should be a hoot lads and lasses, see you in Gna Faste
