RYL beta - Who's in?

Been playing RYL for past week, and dare I say it's a damn promising game.
After about 40 minutes of playing I managed to meet 3 other people that had played DAoC, and actually we had all been in Svea Ulvar.

So anyway, curious as to if any other old DAoC'ers are in the beta. Could be fun to group once in a while.

Tis a sweet new mmorpg. Quite unpolished atm, but still better than DAoC. Loads. Oh and I got another account Cyfr xD. So now I can make myself a beta-bot.

I am in RYL beta, played it yesterday for an hour or so and imo it sucked...

Sucky GFX, sucky interface and to much a DIABLO look a like game imo...

No longer do players have to face monotonous individual games but they can now interact with hundreds or thousands of other players from all over the world and undertake the adventure of a lifetime together.

Well GFX may seem sucky, but I'd say that's thanks to the first beta being locked to 800*600. Malaysian can be run in 1600 afaik.

And well, everyone has different taste I suppose

Personally like the battle system a whole lot more than DAoC's.
Interface aint great either, but it works when you get used to it.

And the engine... it's way better. No fps lags at all, no matter how many mobs, players and pretty effects I tried to have on screen at the same time. Cant wait to see large battles be fought
Suppose that wont happen until Cib do something about the soloing speedhacking asians tho. ~.o..oO~~

The download speed is utter bollocks, I recommend downloading it before you get your beta account

Downloaded this today, couldn't open it, couldn't extract the files, the worthless piece of shit tried to crash my computer every time I fucking tried. Don't bother.

You, your computer or something not related to RYL buggered up. Don't put people off because you cant get the software installed, I had no problem and I guess ardrias didnt as he plays it too.
