why would ppl make a gui skin thats kinda high tech for a game that based on myths and legends 1000years ago ?

and besides it looks ugly.. and takes up way too much screen space.

Might be an old one.. but i've just discovered the PotionUI a couple days ago, and found its really neat and it fits most resolutions well, although afaik to have the potion bar, the group bar and chat window all at bottom, you need tobe running 1280x1024, but if you don't, the UI is easy to customize in a way that it does.
