RvR ranged abilities? Balanced?

I was looking at all the ranged abilities above 1500 range as I was curious to see which realm had the best siege capability and to also see which classes my Hunter had to counter the most (siege and ground).

Is it all balanced? /discuss

Looks like Mid needs a new NS class... please please put it in Beastcraft :flame:

All stats are taken from the Herald... I ain't played all 43 classes, so please don't flame if I got some wrong, just correct me please....
Like why is Theurgist at 2000 range when all other pet type classes are at 1500...

mids already have 2 ns classes, runy and war:puke:lock

looks like alb needs another 2 bolt classes to bring us into line tbh, cabby and theurg imo ;p

It's worth mentioning that Theurgist elemental summons (like Animists bombers), won't path into or out from a keep.

So, as an earth theurg standing on a battlement to defend, I don't have any spells longer than the standard DD.

Funny, as a warrior standing on a battlement to defend, I don't have any spells.

And all fights are in keeps tbh.

Haven't played WL extensively but my understanding was it could be primer'd to the 3k range? (Need a WL expert to be sure)

Alb is also lacking PBAE and AoE damage compared to the other realms.
Wish they gave Albs another PBAE class that has PBAE in a non gimped line which would make keep/tower defends alot easier.

The range of the primer depends on how the warlock is specced. for instance with 50 hex 20 WC and 10% range. i can cast a spell combinded with range primer (2000) at 2200 range. however for some reason many warlocks nowadays feel the need to gimp themselves further by speccing for 3 chambers (more range but lower level hex(damage) spells).

Animists have 2000 potential range on the FnF shrooms. Which seems often to be used to "push" the stand-off line.

yes, pbaoe with a slow cast time, with no ability to moc and with shit damage. And thats if you can even get the pet go stand on top of the people you want to pbaoe.

for me like range siege is pathetic. if someone like sets up a ballista (huge xbow)thing or like a fuck off huge catapult treb thing like if u get hit by that it should do like at least 50-90% of your hits.

I mean its a huge siege weapon, like u get hit by a treb and u get like hit for 50 damage or summin its like being stung by a bee. and imagine if that big xbow thing hit you it would tear u in half.

imo anyway.

Ofcourse, we play in a fantasy game with magic, dragons and honorable albs.

As none of these things really excist, your point on "realism" really gets pointless. :)

agree heave tanks maby should take less dmg but casters and sush should get alot mroe dmg then they do atm.

you can have 3k+15% range nearsight on a warlock if you spec that way - more common to be 2500+%range or 2000+%range.

Yep let's give the healing classes even more RPs during sieges ;)
