RvR Questions

Ok lets see Realm A goes to Realm B and captures a relic, Strength one for instance, what happens next ?
Realm A takes the relic to where ?
Can the Relic be kept in any keep in the frontier or does it have to be in the corresponding Keep in Realm A i.e Realm A has captured Realm B's Strength Relic do they have to store it in their Strength relic Keep ?
What is the difference between yggrada (sp?) and emain ? curious as there are lots of posts in the forums saying yggrada is a good RvR place but emain is a nightmare ? Never been to either only watched a couple of RvR sessions when someone else was on the comp.
I get to my Border keep and into the area beyond, do I then have to go through a portal keep to get to another realms frontier area. and where do I end up ?
As you can probably tell the whole RvR thing is an alien Realm to me :p

Ok relic question first.

Realm A goes to realm B and after banging on the doors for 2 hours, get the relic.

Now realm A has to take that relic back to their own relic keep, and it has to be the corrosponding relic keep, strenght - strenght, power- power.
Not only that, but if realm A dosnt have their own relic home and safe, no other relics of the same kind can be captured.

FX. Albinon has Midgards's power relic. Midgard has to get that back before they can capture Hibernia's or Albinon's power relic.

Ok so far, so good.

Now, about the RvR zones.

Emain is the MAIN rvr zone, for several reasons. It is a fairly easy zone to find your way in. It has large open areas that are nicely suited for big battles. It has "few" aggresive mobs roaming around. Its green and easy to look at for hours and hours.

Yggdra is the zone in Midgard closest the "realm" borders. It has a lot of low-mid lvl players exp'ing and that makes it a prime target for Hibernia and Albinon players looking for some action, solo or otherwise. BUT Midgard knows this, and usually there are a bunch of high lvls hanging around, just in case some damn Hib/Alb starts killing people. Thats why some talk of Yggdra rvr.

Here comes the cow :m00:

Question on capturing relics...

Do you just pick them up like normal objects?

What happens if you go linkdead/etc? (do they automatically drop - hope so!)

Can someone in a fit of confusion pick up a captured relic from our own relic keep? and lose us the bonus?

You can not pick up relics in your own sanctuary (try double clicking on one). Pretty much all possibilities to hurt your own realm have been eliminated in DAoC (now that you can't use charges on your own realm ;D).
