Thx to everyone who fougth, tho it was a little boring that the middies "had" to camp at their keep...

And we would have taken the keep if we didnt went all bored, those doors are WAY to strong :p

GW alb who got it down 4/5 tho :eek:

Oh, all these snipers and rms are making me mad.. when they ress kill me 4 times in a row.. guess they havnt figured that you dont get rps.. or their just draining the poor clerics, who made an great job ressing (usually its pallys that ress.. )..

Yup those doors are way to strong for lower lvl bg's we were there for a good 20-30 mins bashing the door "about 20 tanks" and the door was hardly scratched when we finally decided to give up :( .

also catsers cating spells/pets at doors i smited it and hit it for ZERO dmge lol . didnt say failed to dmge just said you hit for 0 dmge :) lol

U cant do damage vs doors with magic.. thats why ;-)

Didn't the patch reduce the amoung of damage players(magic and melee) did to keep doors?

They lowered how much dmg you can do to keep doors to encourage the use of siege equipment
my theory anyway :p

read patch notes . unless im mistaken it does say casters and pets can do dmge to doors .

as for siege equipoment yea i agree. but how many lvl 20-24 do you know that can make siege . not to many im sure .
and yes melee dmge was lowered on keep doors but the dmge we did to it and the length of tie omg it was stupid 20 tanks on a relic keep could of done more dmge than we did to a normal keep . ,aybe if you tag along on one of tyour realms keep raids on a bg and you'll see whati mean , cos for the amount of people and the time we were bashing door the dmge was ludicrous .

theurgist pets can now be fired at keep doors. Cabalist/sorc pets always could. And AFAIK you should now be able to cast spells on the doors too, pretty sure that was in the patch notes.

As to the fighting... was OK i guess. I gave up fairly early after albs got wiped trying to scratch first door. I managed to escape that one but then group of middies came charging over the bridge and ganked me.
To that beserker who nearly died to my leather-wearing, uber-slash-weak friar.... haha

(noone seems to have any patience - I think too much minstrel speed makes people go wappy ;) it goes to their heads)

Hrm about all this siege stuff... maybe I should spend a few days getting my 500 weaponcrafting :)

now all we need is a 25-29 armourcrafter and a fletcher? anyone?

Yesterday I tested the Battlegrounds with my alt, my god I love being a Infiltrator.

Now I can finally get some payback to all the mezzing, sniping and backstabing my main char suffers :)

PS: I should have named this char "Retribution" ;)

Tkz to all the Albs and Mids that showed (didnt see many hibs)


Memnock -> level 44 Merc
Naite -> level 23 Inf

Well, not having an alt hight enough for battleground, I had to go and take Hurbury (yes those are Na Fianna colours on the Guardians in Snowdonia :) ) and my nuke does a whole 2 damage to the doors.

Bashing it with my stick did 14 damage however, so stick bashing + damage add is still the way to go, should anyone *cough* Lanvar *cough* forget to bring a ram.

I can now Smite doors with my main without any trouble although the damage is lots less than with my hammer so no point really.

Getting Seige parts to the bg's shouldn't be a problem as lots of the people there are alts so getting them from merch keeps/making them with their main and transferring over is easy.

They are very heavy though so it'll probably need a lot of people 2 get them 2 the fort.

well............


we tried thats right
but people braking the mezzed, pulling the guards and waiting for the next to spawn (instead of hitting the door) etc etc clerics not rezzing, moaning that it takes ages to destry the door etc etc.........

great organization

(i tried to give some orders some were listening .. but hey.... :( )



then we went to get wood to make a ram.. _I_ went to the pk... with 4 guys or so?

well we tried to get rams here but time we got back was loads of middys waitin which screwed it up cos we didnt even cross the river :( cos of mid zerg we where outnumbered but not by much

anyway would like to thx all the middies who have given me 606 rp since patch :) btw someone tell me how many im worth im the annoying scout called lynx the one who takes on tanks :)

Better be careful Chipper or u'll get to rr1 lvl6 and won't be able to play any more.

I've been in the 25-29 bg a fair bit with my minst but didn't realise you were Lynx Effect.

Not that many people know who my Minst is and it's always anon but I'll say hi next time I see u in the bg :)

Think lvl9 is the 30-35 one m8.

Quite likely I'll have to go there after the weekend as well :(.

- Caledonia - levels 30 - 35, Realm rank 1, Realm level up to 9

- Murdaigean - levels 25 - 29, Realm rank 1, Realm level up to 5

- Thidranki - levels 20 - 24, Realm rank 1, Realm level up to 3
