rvr group setups and you!

Hi im from alb pry and was wondering!

so what rvr group setups everyone running here on excal?

6 smite clerics, spirit cabalist, sorcerer, if we can get them.

If not - 8 people we like.

I like 2 clerics, theurg, sorc, cabby 2 mercs and a pally.

Use ML10 BM Reaver & ML10 BM Friar, grapple both zerks inside TWF3 & ST3 and you have 2.5k damage on the tanks in the bag in the first 30s of the fight. Although to the eye this won't seem much, it's gonna drain alot of enemy DI / instants so it gives great advantage over enemy groups becuase while the tanks are grappled by your reaver and friar, the casters are free to cast, and if they have pets on them they just run the pets through twf3 and are free to nuke again, its perfect for example if casters have zo pets on them.

In adidtion to the above, the mercs can use bl abilities to reduce casting time on heals/nukes making healing those zerks harder, coupled with the fact if you have a tri-spec caby he/she can AoE disease those heals/nukers also.

tbh the standard Alb group that I see around at the moment seems to consist of the following;

20-30 random soloers (usually sorc, paladins and clerics)
some stealthers

Hi there! Read his post? No? Doesn't seem like it anyway. The question he asked was what setups groups on excal currently ran, NOT which ones people would like to, or find are their favourite.

I just did a search, and was unable to find a thread about recent group setups run by excal guilds, feel free to prove me wrong and show one of these. I even gave you an extra chance and refined the search down to "excal rvr group setups" and the last post on such a discussion was on the 4th of February.

So, his question is not answered in any recent threads, and you obviously didn't read what he wrote. Who is the board troll now?

IMO, 40 rej is overrated, need two shearers in Alb/Hib groups who don't have the luxury of a dedicated shearer. 42E/33R seems the best cleric spec, for both clerics.
