Ok i like many other are waiting on the battle grounds but until then i would like 2 c if any guilds<or individuals> are willing 2 participate in duels.

although there must b some honour involved<looks at the albs ;p>

Mythic have openly said in the past that they specifically don't want people to duel and that they see it as RP farming. They've said if people persist they'll do something to stop it... can't see what they could possibly do though

Dueled once last week, first time... I saw a big troll called Movin, and even a small ugly Kobold named Fatbelly...

It was a very nice chance to the normal 'mezz/stun/smack/dirt nap' RvR for me... Although I'm getting better at this 'RvR-Thing'...

I'd like a rematch though with Movin, now that I have my epic weapon... (Btw, we did the Duel thing without dying, so can't really be classified as RP farming)

Although the last few times I battled with a SB I kinda uh, lost... Damn Critical Strike with Stun... Only thing I could do is watch my HP go down... And they dont even hit that hard... (If they can't use CS, their real pussies)

But still, I think I've got a better chance against you now, seeing I went from 120 to 200 damage on a yellow (I love a 100% qual epic weapon with proc)

granny this is goa or mythic

and i believe the words used by mythic summed up were that they would not discourage the duel events, but they wouldnt discourage the ruin-the-duel events either

there should be a system like in JK2 (for any of u who ain't played it u basically enter a duel when only the other person can damage u ) but u can only challenge your opposite class .. eg a Armsman or Paladin could challenge a Thane or a Champion but not a eldritch or shadowblade

Personally I have no problem with it, I didn't mean my post to imply that I did, as far as I'm concerned it sounds like fun and that's good

Sure, setup a place and time... Should be early in a weekend, normally I work... When I was dueling I was like 1 1/2 hours too late

IMO the only reason mythic dont want duels is because people would find out how imbalanced the classes are.

I mean if you where a lvl40 what-ever and a lvl40 what-ever-else comes and twaks you like you where a lowbie im sure you wouldnt be all that impressed

and maybe if duels did start taking off and GOA didnt mind support classes wouldnt be all that usefull would they?
