I'm not starting this off.. I'll have to check my list of screw ups first

Fighting an armsman named Gloec in Yggdra, continuing to fire on him while he tried to find me which resulted in his dead
(his mistake was no /face or not running in the dir that the arrows was pointing out from him)

Me activating TS the other day at AMG odin's discovering Envenom NS. Trying to get a crit shot on him which broke my stealth when he was 2 feet away
(I should have hauled ass out of there instead)

Fighting Omega 50 Hero in Odnis on my skald, he slammed me then sat down to rest...


purge, instamez, Evernight from behind for 600 or so dmg = ouch.

Heh, I've done the wrong QB thing with my healer. Instead of actually healing the person I end up spamming my Cure disease/ poison spell and getting a tad pissed off wondering why the targets health bar is still going the wrong way

Most common mistake I make not in combat is to hit IP/purge instead of my buffs..

QB2 slot 2/3 = IP/purge
QB3 slot 2/3 = AF/quick buffs

I'd change thier slots but I must be able to buff as quickly as possible then restealth..

worst mistake in a while was last night at avakr, only realised it afterwards.

Infi PA'd me on the battlements, I was mashing the IP key and totally forgot I had purge.. so I need not have stood there stunned like a pleb! ah well live and let die..

Biggest mistake ive seen made by the enemy had to be on one of my first trips to emain after hitting 50, I was in a group of 4 trying to catch up with the rest of the middies at amg. As we passed mmg we came face to face with a fg of albs who proceeded to root me and lay into the tanks, I proceeded to mezz the albs one by one (no aoe mezz as im an aug healer atm) and heal my group as they dropped them. We were on the final alb when a fg of hibbies joined the attack and flattened us.

Biggest mistakes ive made have to be a) being on the wrong hotbar and casting buffs instead of mezz/stun or b) trying to change hotbar with shift+<number> whilst moving and ending up scrolling through my command history and saying things like 'inc777665' to my group. Luckily these occasions are becoming less frequent.

anyone else noticing that quickbars seems to be popping up a lot here...

personally I think you should be able to map actions/words/QB buttons to keys other than 1-8, it's very limiting.

at least we get the /face /stick buttons mappable soon

Was chased by some infil a long time ago in sauvage, think it was Thorn. Turned the camera around to watch him (had a safe distance between him and me) behind me in.
Not seeing what was in front of me I ran into a tree, he caught up with me and I got doted/snared and died.

hmm, well i have alot of memories of either me or my enemies doing bad things during a fight, but most recently was 3 days ago in DF farming rocots for money when a sotl infil attacked me, (
(wont mention name ) he missed stab, and i had my 2-hander up, after 2 hits he had to ip and then tried to run and hide, prob was that he had an rocot agroo to him so it was quite safe to run after and smack him down even more. ended fight with 90%health

And then people say infils are overpowered

Other funny thing would be fighting an infil at battlements of amg, when he was down to 1%health he jumped and died from it


Btw as i post very seldom i have to aknowledge belorian for blocking almost every attack i made against him in emain earlier today, his friends came to finish me off, but honestly i think he would have won even if they had not showed up.......

was scouting ahead stealthed with my SB (lvl 43) in a small grp, and kinda ran into vireb and mistook him for a caster, fekkin hell that hurt, figured caster was a reasonable target as he was running towards me just leaving the fellwoods in Hadrians (through the small gully) so had to run straight past me, man it's worrying when first thing you see is " you've attacked vireb and he evaded" skald and zerk with me took a beating before they put him away. skald was almost dead.


Very nicely played Vireb, and v badly judged by me

heh first time i was at alb entrance in DF i logged and checked back later.
Then i saw an orange Briton(think it was) with a staff, i thougt.. HAH Caster, hes gonna dieh, equipped my 2h and backstabbed him, then he turned around.. did some magic angle spell and bam i was dead in some hits, he managed to fire his fa thoug, that i did not manage ;>
And from that day ive hated friars for lief :>

was waiting for a group mate to repop from relog and spotted two sb's looking at me group so I ran over with a chanter and they stealthed...and stayed there, getting promplty unstealthed by pb and ganke by me and staj

Edit: to the two mid mages in emain today instead of standing next to each other and letting me interrupt by switching between you per hit - move further apart you learned a tad too late

Going to the Thane trainer at lvl 5 is the biggest RvR blooper you can make, you cant beat that one.

Me and couple of friends were hunting crabs in uppland. We were 1 warrior, 2 zerkers and 1 skald all at various lvls (25-32). I was sitting down resting after a fight with a crab when a purple con Infiltrator backstabs me and kills me in two shots. My brave realmmates who were with me didn't run like wussies, instead, they fought like real middies . The two zerkers went into zerk mode and began hitting him like crazy and guess what? They won the fight . They all had 90% of their health left. After that I fell down of my chair and rolled on the floor laughing my ass off. The Infiltrator had been ganked by 3 gray cons middies. hehe

Dear murphys, at Benowyc once. He was beckoning me away from everyone (Presumably to duel me or something) so I played along, moving forward a bit, him /beckoning me, me stopping, him beckoning...

Eventually I got fed up (Thinking he was leading me into an ambush) So I stopped moving up, beckoned him, backed off then ran at him.

The moment I hit him with taunt shout I saw an immense mob of characters steaming up behind him, thought to myself "Oh shit, his mates"

Then they proceeded to pound him in pure alb zerg fasion. Poor murphys didn't see it coming until they steamrollered him. I couldn't yell fast enough to stop them

Either that or it was someone in our group today that got a tad too close to the mid Relic keep in Uppland :/ that ended in dead albs, even though we ran like buggery.

My best rvr experience.

Got to be that one time in Emain where I (50 skald) am running around lost from my group. I come across a lone armsman and decide to mezz and call for my group and hope they come kill him. Ofc they never made it in time. So the fight began and in the course of the entire battle - this was before RA's - he swung (styled) 5 times at me. I parried 3 and evade 2 And Im a troll!
Damn I would have gotten mad if i had been on the other side of that fight - outmeleed by a troll skald that hit for 200 - 250 a swing

Worst blooper - hmm.
besides the usual wrong QB and mezz breaking.
Must be loosing to a single Theu at amg because I mezzed him and didnt put my weapon away fast enough and broke my own mezz - QC root -> run away -> gazillon air pets -> very dead skald

haha my best rvr blooper was probably when this Highlander armsman wanted to suicide at uppland but he sore me at x-roads so waved at me... i waved back then went to attack him

when i was attackin he didnt enter war mode so he could die... exept i spent a good 15hits missing him as he /laughed at me till a RM came along and nuked him... most imbarising!
