Hi guys,

I finally followed the example of numerous daoc players and got myself a second account since deciding I wanted to level a BM to 50 and go rvr. Since I only have one pc I have to run both clients on 1 pc which causes a few ld's of the buffbot. Is there anything I can do to try to limit the amount of ld's?

Cheers,

Go into task manager (ctrl+alt+delete).

Set priority to low on both game.dll entries. Works well when the bb is just standing at borderkeep i.e.

If you want the bb to stick; set priority to normal for the bb client's game.dll, and to low for the main client. Don't stay too long on the bb client though, as your main client might ld.

Make sure to use "/clientsleep background" on your 2nd account when your bot is just standing around somewhere (i.e. the borderkeep).
This way the game won't render the graphics on the 2nd account and will make the game run smoother on the account you're currently playing.

To turn it off again (if you want to stick the bot to your main char) type "/clientsleep never".
