Has anyone else had problems where they run slightly faster then the rest of the group?
For some reason, and I think its since my new PC, I run slightly faster then the rest of the people in my group. This wouldnt be a problem, except that I lead the group. Currently we solve this problem by letting everyone in the group sprint, except me. If we dont, every 30s or so I will be out of /stick range of my group.
Someone told me it could be caused by overclocking your PC. However, if overclocking your PC makes you run faster then the group, then my internal clock would show similar problems. As all programs / games / etc (like daoc) should (in theory) be sync'd using that clock (it runs at speeds independant of the cpu-speed). And my system clock would show the same 'problem' and run ahead of my other pc. (and their perfectly sync'd)
Anyways, I would like to know if someone has (or is) experiencing the same problem, or perhaps someone at GOA knows what could cause it ?
My system:
P4 3.2E
MSI 875P Neo-FISR (PCB 2.0) with D.O.T. (Dynamic Overclocking Technology) enabled
1Gb DDR-Ram
ATI 9800XT
Edit: I do not overclock my system, except having enabled D.O.T. in my bios.
