Got a runemaster in development (currently lvl 12), and i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to make a decent supp/rc combo...

There is only one combo, 47 RC and 26 Supp. Try to get suppression to level 26 as fast as possible. This will ensure your future in groups.

rumours are up speccing full darkness is viable as well since you'll get the biggest dd in the game and a kickass dmg add.
However you will lose your main reason to get invited to a team ,it being the pulsing bt.

ps : my halfparttime runie is going for 26/47 as well

Full darkness sux, coz u will never ding lvl 50 or even 45. It is better going 47 dark 26 supp, and u loose only dmg add, AoE and someting more (not nuke). Will I change this spells on pulsing buble? Of coz I will!

RC sux alot, better going full supp or 47 dark/26 supp

Go for the 26/47 template, and level off to 50. Keep in mind that the US version is going to get respec options soon, so by the time you are 50, we'll have it too.

Then unspec your 26 and 47 and fill the points as you wish. (50 Darkness for example, and be the RvR Nuker everyone runs from.

It all depends on your playstyle...

Kill tanks and help a lot in big fights: Go full dark (warn you tho, a lot of the albs and hibs have a lot of cold resist)

Wanna oneshot casters, stalkers ect - be a pure range guy: Go 47 RC, 26 supp (warn you tho, bolt are nice but have limets as well - on timer, can be blocked ect)

Do you want a lot of utility spells and be a great group player (that do okay solo as well): Go full supp (have to say I love that AE DD with snare when there's no mezzer around and 75 % range debuff rocks - prolly one of the most underestimated spells... as least in the EU)

Well, I don't know all that much about RM's but this statement is very sad IMHO.

If everybody specs equal, then Mythic could just as well, have preprogrammed the spec-lines, and left us with very few options. What a boring world DAoC would be then

Spec as you like, not as everybody else wants you to.

There is other ways to go. My template is going to be like this
darkness 40
You get all the spells, except the last one in all the
Darkness Specialization lines.

Suppression 36
Again here you get all the second best spells.. well except in the DD and snare line were you get the 3. best

Runecarving 4
Becourse you can.

There is now only one spec point left.

You might not hit as hard as others but you will be more equiped to handle yourself in diffrent situations.. and you will be good i 2 diffrent dammage types. Not sure what kind the supression uses but its not cold thats for sure.

Well thats just my toughs, use it as you like.
