RuneMaster Respec Ideas

I have a few respec ideas for my Runie and since the upcoming patch isn't far away I thought I'd share them.

I (aswell as many Runies I have spoken with) am still unsure as to what I should respec to being as RC is gimped to hell and back. I'm hoping this will set me on the straight and narrow

47 Dark, 26 RC

Best Dark DD, 15% Cold debuff, stable bolts and an okay GTAoE. Downside being lack of PBT and nearsight.

50 Dark, 20 Supp

50 Dark giving the last AE DD Debuff, best DD and the 'uber' damage add. 20 Supp giving nearsight and group BT to make up for the lack of PBT.

47 Dark, 26 Supp

The last of the (IMO) viable options for a Runie (I don't like Supp so I haven't included it :-P).
With this spec comes the much loved PBT, along with the best Dark DD and ofcourse, every Runies favorite spell; nearsight.

I'm leaning towards 47 Dark, 26 RC myself although 50 Dark, 20 Supp would be equally good IMO.

suppresion on a runie looks much more viable full spec than earth does on theurgist

the last one, pbt is MUCH better than gbt ^^
but you will miss oneshotting casters in epic with you bolts

1e spec: 47 dark, 26rc... couple of side issues with it.
- U go away from RC because, among other things, the bolts suck, so does it really matter how good they are after respec ?
- It has been proven by the Teamleaders, that debuffing your own damage is not worth it, only in very few situations is it worth to cast the debuff instead of just another nuke. Most of the time it will be better damage-wise to just nuke another time.
-47dark/26rc should be 47dark/24rc/rest sup (5or so) for self bladetrun atleast.
-Gtaoe might be worth it, would recommend u do testing on gorre first.

2e spec: 50dark/20 sup
-Very good template, very nice damage output, a decent nearsight and groupbladeturn. Is the last AoE worth loosing pbt over?... i dunno

3e spec:
- Probabaly the best spec, good nukes, pbt, nearsight and a decent AoE


I'm not sure how i will respec either. On gorre i will test 50/20 to see how bad loosing pbt is. When we get 1.52 on the live servers, I will just continue playing with the current (gimped) 47rc/26sup spec untill I'm 100% sure, I can't go on like it.

gtaoe is a poor man's pbaoe for finding stealthers...
it's also handy for keep sieges.

And that's about it.

At the moment i'm 47dark/26 supp its a good spec but with new RvR resist next patch and cheap IP and they remove to hit bonus. I'll be respecin to 50 sup/20 RC because soon with Dark which is cold based you will see alot of,

You hit for 250(-250)! damage!


BUt if you want to go for one of them specs I would defo go for 47 dark/26 sup Nearsight + pbt are much better than a gtae that does not damage cuz its bugged .
