If it was a pc maybe.

But its not. It's a console.

You can't compare the two as, imo, pc developers are just lazy. Lazy in the sense that they'd rather make a game that runs the nuts on the latest hardware, and shite on anything less.

And who says these are even final, etc etc etc.

Considering unless it pulls its finger out this Xmas, Xbox will be dead around about March, I think talk of Xbox 2 is a tad premature.

I expect the machine to be more powerful than the developers guide lines in some areas, although most probably end up doing as badly as the Xbox tbh.

read this months' edge magazine. as they say... it may well not have the support it needs at the moment... but ms could really afford to buy up games companies left and right and command them to make games for it...

Yeh it is. It looks crap. Not got one. I heard about Nintendo's next console too. It's crap. Played it yesterday. Yeah, its not out for ages yet. Games are all kiddy crap. Mario is crap.

Succeed or Fail, Microsoft will NOT give up on the home console/box in front of telly business. If Xbox dies they'll use a different name for the next one :)

They have tonnes of free money anyway.

What difference does a failed console make to a company like MS?..I'll tell you...Absolutely fuck all.
