Saw this tonight. Really enjoyed it, Van der Beek is fucking excellent but most of the cast is. Had to laugh when some fat neddy couples left in disgust as soon as they figured it WASN'T American Pie 3 or Dawson's Creek the Movie (might have been Van Der Beek wanking off that did it).

I could go on, but thankfully I won't. Recommend it

No I haven't read the book m8 so can't give a comparison sorry. I've read American Psycho but nothing else by Easton Ellis.

There is another book of his that's being turned into a film but I can't recall the name...bah.

yeh i saw it last night too, loved it, and people started leaving from the bit where the guy kept shouting fucking motherfucker all the time. but yeh great film, wasnt really expecting it to be that good, but i was pleasently surprised
