Dont know if any of you have already tried this but I did 'the experiment' over the weekend and thought I would report my findings. I took out half a packet (10 Pills) for what I thought was going to be a fairly routine night out, few beers then home to bed sorta thing. Ended up quite a bit more but I *think* the 10 pills should have been enough. Anyway it went like this:

7-9: in the pub, drank 4 pints of Heiniken 5% - ate 4 pills (correct dosage)
9-11: in pizza place, we drank between 4 of us 3 bottles of wine an 2 large whiskeys, ate 4 pills
11-12: home playing street fighter 2, drank couple of cans of lager, ate last 2 pills and went to sleep

Woke up quite early, still feeling quite drunk really from night before, didnt have a headache or anything but felt pretty drained/tired. With that overall feeling of not being arsed to move still pretty much intact. I do think they helped, but i'm unsure by how much. Need to repeat the whole night WITHOUT the pills to be sure!

The other odd thing, my housemate put an entry in his blog stating where he bought the pills and how crap he thought they were. The store must have found it and they sent him an email offering to send him a packet for free to try them again. Pretty damnb good customer service!

In all though I wouldnt say they are worth the £5 unless your desperate to go out in the week or something when you have work the next day.

Oh and they are also really big and quite awkward to swallow, and taste pretty nasty too. Hope this helped any prospective buyers

Hehe, good report.. I had thought about taking them but I dont understand why they cant come up with a version where you just have to take one pill and it gets rid of the hangover, why a million pills!?

I think it's because((if this works like another product that never made the market(yet)) the pills enhance the liver(which burns alcohol) "productivity".

So the liver basicly works on overdrive. Now, one pill would enhance the activity in the liver too much, possibly destroying the whole system. Now with doses over the night AND depending on the amount of alcohol, it can be kept in safe parameters.

Read a lot of reports about it. You have to take 1 pill after every drink? Problem is what if someone spots you in a busy pub or club doing that :/

It's had mixed reports. Looks like it only works if you stick to beer (one girl tired with wine and failed badly).

My view on it is, enjoy the hangover. It hurts and you hate it, but it's part of the night out and I feel more alive from the experience .

As long as you eat before going out. Stop drinking an hour before you are due to leave the club / pub. Then eat after and drink water before bed, you should be feeling half normal in the morning.

There are loads of details about what it does dotted around the web, but it supposedly stops the liver from producing a certain enzyme which is the main cause of the 'bad feelings' of the hangover the next day. I think half my problem was I was still feeling pretty drunk when I got up, maybe if I'd of had a couple in the morning too it would have helped through the morning. Who knows, getting some freebies soon anyway so will give it another crack

Just take some vitamines (vitamine C is needed most I believe) and drink lots of water before you go to bed.
I never had a hangover....

Me personally, I'd be worried about bouncers kicking me out for popping pills in their club.

The Sun asked a Bizarre reporter to test it.

End result was they do NOT work and are a complete and utter waste.

They also said they had plenty of success in america and have faith in the results, honestly though, why put your faith in American results?

Sorry but I do find it hard to believe anything based on american results when they never even tested it in the UK.

But drinking is fun! You could on the same foot say, if you dont want a hangover then dont drink, full stop. But that, sad though it may be, would completely destroy my social life. I thought about it a lot, and pretty much everything social I do revolves in some way around drink. Its part of British culture, maybe too big a part of British culture, but its enjoyable and makes the most mundane night, talking to people you really dont like, so much more enjoyable.

Plus I didnt neck 4 at a time, its two pills for every two drinks, I pretty much steadily had one or two at a time throughout the night. I didnt time it down to the minute so I generalised
