RR gear?

Does anyone know if its still like Iv seen in countless cb vids that you can buy the higher rank rr gear from a merch?

and if it is like that still, where can order go to get their fix? I cant find it

They fixed that particular issue I believe. You can buy renown gear from your local warcamp. Hover over stuff on the map (m by default)

In tier1 the renown merchant is in the first warcamp you come across.

Once you get to tier2 you need to locate the renown merchant at the top floor of a friendly keep in the rvr zone for the higher rank renown gear.

The biggest difference from the closed beta is that you can no longer as a rank 10 (renown rank 6) go to tier2 and buy a full set of overpowered armor that you take with you back down to tier1.

Worth noting there are actually two of these merchants (at least in the Chaos tier 1 warcamp), one selling armour and one seeling jewellry.

You need to have not only the required rr (4-6 depending on the exact slot the item is for) but also have the required level (rank) for some items this is rank 9, for some it is lower.

ohh where is the jewelry RR guy in chaosland as I have only found the armour, which I have to say is a little dissapointing, but am assuming it is because it is armour fit for rat whacking and not for capturing castles solo :lol:

Also in the warcamp - erm near the path where the renown trainer is. There are renown armour merchants in some of the other camps not sure if they have a full stock as I flew in from DE land and so only went to the ones at the war camp.

The armour is pretty good once you get the rr/rank for it - before then it will show you some fairly pants armour you dont need ranks for - uncheck the 'filter useable box' to see everything that's available.

I left the box checked so i didn't drool over my keyboard, it is sticky enough as people seem to like to spill drinks on it when i am not looking

Yeah, the DE camp has both armour and jewelry vendors too. Amusingly though, I have better drops apart from the jewelry!

So what level/renown rank do you need to be to get the stuff from the tier 2 vendor?

RR11 for the boots and RR12+ to get the other stuff.
