Have they changed the way Realm points are made since the last patch.

Reason i ask is i always play unbuffed and an unbuffed player can not do jack **** in rvr now adays so i tend to join the big fights and where there are large grps agains large grps i attempt to help out (leech if you like to call it that, but sometimes an extra person can help ).

However last night was first time i had time to rvr since the patch and things were different, id start smacking an enemy but as unbuffed i was not doing much damage but he had his attention on me untill more hibbies came along nuked him killed him I got not RPS. Before the patch id get some even if only 100 RPS for doing some damage to him..

If this is the case you have to do like 50% damage to get RPS, unbuffed players are even more stuffed now ;-(... As in one on one fights i used to just get about 30% damage in till the calvary arrived. Now thats pointless, if thats the case as last night in 3 hours i made 160 rps from one fight where i managed to do a fair bit of damage till help arrived, if thats how rvr has changed now i will have to go back to WOW ;-( not by choice but RVR is not possible even unbuffed to get any points now.

Sounds like you were just unlucky you should have got some RPs even if it wasn't a lot. I'm guessing that with 30% or so damage you'd get about 200-300.

I play my theurgists on prydwen unbuffed a lot and ran about on my chanter on hib unbuffed. I do have a bot just can't always be arsed logging him in and moving him for buffs.

No, RPs are still calculated on how much damage you (or your group) do to somebody. The person you killed may have been worth reduced RPs having been killed recently.

Thats ok then ;-), started to panick after coming back to DAOC from WOW and saw this happening i thought OMG they have changed how RPS are made pheww lol.

If ya ever need buffs just give me a pm. Most of the time I got plenty conc left.
Just ask Dride and Durrell. Its the first thing (after a /hug that is) I do when I see a NSC-member adventuring in RvR

Problem is gonna be keeping em cuz I got the tendensie to die alot and fast. Somehow I'm always the first person they fg-assist on. Still haven't figured out why. (Don't they normally take out casters first instead of the warden ??)
