Has anyone else noticed nightshades giving shite realm points lately?
Today ive killed the same lvl 50 nightshade 4 times and received no more than 200rp's each time even when i landed my pa+cd combo.
Do some hibs let mobs take there health down then rest before coming to emain so that there worth less rp's or something?
Maybe nightshades suck and thats why u give crap rp's:p j/k

me and mona killed instagib about 4-5 times today, we didn't get over 200 rps when we did him solo, and when we both killed him we got like 50 rps each.

thought maybe pveing on purpose before they came up to give naff rps or schummat :eek:

Well, instagib is only rr3 so that is kind of understandable... A while back I killed untuva with my 45 minstrel(+ 48 bloodletter :p) and got a whopping 198 rp from him. He had 390K rp at the time. Shortly after, a level 41 chanter (zanti or something similar) walks by and I kill him getting almost 500rp. He was rr1 at the time. It just seems very random what you get. I had suspected that maybe my pet had stolen some rp with untuva's case, although I would have thought I'd seen something about this if pets do take rp from a kill.

realm points are more dependant on level than realm rank afaik. Nearly every 50 I've solo'd before has been like 900 minimum to 1019 max. Realm rank doesn't seem to be much of a factor (infact it seems totally random :) )

doesnt the /played time since you had an RvR death the the number of kills since your last rvr death has something to do with it?

But I've heard, that many ns's let mobs beat them down to 10%, then rest to full, then go fighting, and when they die, their opponent gets 10~rp. that's so sad.

You must have a spy in hibernia, couse 90% of our stealthers doing that, we just pull 20-30 water beetles sit down go afk for 15mins then we rush to emain with hastener speed and give bad rps.

Wouldnt suprise me if you did that mr.I-pwnd-the-lvl30-minstrel-who-mezzed-mr-and-killed-my-alt-that-I-PL'd-so-I-have-to-/laugh-spam-him.

I would guess it has something to do with that they've lost health a couple of times before, not to mobs (doesn't matter, you get full RPs anyways unless the foe dies an xp-death) but to other players. When for example a buffed assassin like instagib runs around he'll win most fights and have a long time before he dies, thus losing health a couple of times and regening again. There's some bugs around that makes this take away RPs even though the one who got health off him don't get any due to timer-to-get-rps run out or something.

aye but usually fight him at amg, and since he coming from breifine, probably not seen any body to fight till he gets there. Don't see any alb death messages anyway :)
