Not afaik.. but imagine a party of 7 people wandering into a dungeon... when all of a sudden, a rock crashes down. Now the GM needs to decide which char is dead and how can he possibly do that without a D7? :/

For a D5 outcome, I called for a D10 roll so that
1 = 1 or 2
2 = 3 or 4
and so on

I think for a D7 result I rolled a D8+D6 then halved it

ie. [2-14]/2

P.S. and just for the record.. I was joking... you can always simulate all kinds of dicerolls ofc!

Roll a D20 once for each character.

Clearly you roll a D8 and if you get an 8 they all die! (Or if you are a cuddly GM they all live )

A gigantic rock crashes down. Everyone please roll a D100

01 - 10 The rock misses you by loads. Phew !
11 - 30 The rock crashes to the ground near you. You take D10 dmg as fragments of sharp rock bite into your legs.
31 - 50 The rock lands on your left shoulder breaking it. Take 20 hits. You're on -30% activity until you find a healer.
51 - 65 The rock breaks both your legs. Shit.
66 The rock lands on your head pulverising helm, bone, and brain. Say goodnight.
67 - 80 The rock traps you beneath it. Unless you're pulled out within D6 rounds you're a goner.
81 - 95 The rock misses you but kills your best friend. How do you feel ?
96 - 00 The rock kills D4 members of the party. Bad rock.
