Rotation?

I know Albs are getting fed up with the constant irvr in Alb so the suggestion I would like to ask is this.

How about each realm has a rotation of irvr for 1 week only?

Obviously the keeps that would be taken would have to be the best situated for the best possible rvr.

What are your thoughts with this?

Seems artificial and quite frankly abit agains the good old Spirit of the Game?
Then again the SotG is soon absolete so it might work for all i know.
Imo just retake the keeps and start taking enemy ones and do it the old fashion way.

Just because you quit daoc doesnt mean you instantly have to leave these boards, i've been a part of these boards for close to 5 years, me having a break from the game or having quit it for good wont make me instantly leave these boards.

Anyhow, ofc, it's not as fun when it's artificially created, and it would be better if it rotated by itself with people doing their shit in RvR. However, this requires a tiny bit bigger population, which dyvet doesn't have! So to me it seems like a choice, artificially build places where you can have action (ie the way albion some times choose NOT to retake keeps in their own frontier, or hibs, mids, whatever), or no action at all.

IRVR will always be in alb just get used to it

Hib is ok

IRVR in mid just sucks

Variation however, is neccesary for one not to boore himself to shit, after going trough the same shit all day every day. Shit really aint that bad aslong as you have the knowledge that it will change, and maybe get better in the future. Like when I heard ToA and NF was coming out, I had some real shitty times in RvR, but I thought to myself, ah well, soon things will change, hopefully to the better, I'll hang in there till then.

Well IRvR is now in Hib and tbh I Don't think Albs know it yet as it seems the Bridge campers and Tower humpers are still around Beno.
