Hey all

Just curious...are there any calc's to be done concerning how likely a L25-26 Root/mezz/stun will stick on a L46? :)

Reason is...i was xp'in my L20 SB in yggdra yesterday, when a fire wiz...bout L25-26'ish ( very patient btw...runnin to ygg at that lvl /salute ) killed me SB. Hey i thought, wudnt mind killin a lowbie bolter with my L46 zerk.

I returned after 10'ish mins, he was happily bouncing around just outside gates ( no other mids apparently ;p ) i charged him and when i was bout 15-20feet away he rooted me...when i noticed him casting i thought, HA! gimme ur best shot sonny, imagine my surprise when i actually got ROOTED!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF :D and he was fire spec...so an unspecced root.

Now to the question, anyone know how likely this is to happen? or was i just the most unlucky fekkin d00d ;)

P.S.
Think i have liek 5-6% cold resist

Well, my lvl 13 earth ae root (im 50 ice 20 earth 4 fire) sticks to about 50% of the enemies it catches.

Or something like that ;)

Wizards dont need to spec ice to advance root - its a baseline spell.

No idea about the caps tho - i know in PvE root gets resisted alot more on purp mobs than yellow/orange. Just unlucky maybe ?

I was so impressed I let him live :)
