If i had a child, i'd call it 'Quinn', or however it's spelt. I have a feeling the name is unisex, however i'd proberbly think up something better for a girl, since it's clearly a name for a lad with long hair

All of them have been doing various other things. Sliders is still shown on SciFi channel, however i'm not sure whether they're:
Old episodes allready shown on bbc2.
Old episodes that were never shown on bbc2.
New episodes - The show still exists.

I believe SciFi are showing 'season 3'. I have a feeling that the Beeb showed 2 series, so i think these would be unshown episodes, allthough i haven't been watching them to know.

The trick to good names, is to have something that's fairly uncommon, but not something 'modern' like Brooklyn, that isn't even a proper name.

I think that was the 3rd one... Sky One showed series 4 and 5 a while back, although annoyingly enough not the first episode of series 4, or the last of series 5.

If you like Sliders, I'd advise you to avoid watching series 4 and 5... they are truely terrible.

Basic run down of what happens :

Earth's been taken over by Kromaggs,
Wade and Rembrant got captured by them, what with getting back to Earth at the end of series 3.
Somehow, Rembrant escapes, but Wade doesn't, and he somehow meets up with Maggie and Quinn again. (this was all in the first episode of series 4... which I didn't see. )
Quinn finds out he's not really from Earth, but from another parallel universe, and he has a brother.
They find the brother, he takes Wades place as a main character, and they go off in search of Quinns real parents.
Lots of crap happens, then at the start of series 5 some mad scientist *somehow* does some nonsense with thier wormhole, and Quinn gets melded together with his double from another universe, which looks and acts nothing like him, *cough*expiredcontract*coughs*) and his brother just gets "lost"... the 2nd Quinn becomes a main character, along with some other woman scientist/doctor... leaving series 5 as an appauling wreck.

The NSPCC should step in when parents think it's a good idea to name their children "Romeo" or "Pheonix Chi"... or make it public knowledge why "Brooklyn" is named that...

Yeah except the line is "Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?" meaning "WHY are you Romeo" not "WHERE are you Romeo", hence the bit that follows about names and roses smelling just as sweet if they were called something else, it's Juliet wittering on about what a shame the bloke she fancies the arse off is the son of the bitterest enemy of her father etc.
