Ive lost so much and im sure every1 else has just as bad cos of a few pricks who exploit some gay bug

what gets me is why cant they just ban they exploiters instead of making every1 suffer

1 day refund dont mean shit to me. that was 1 of my holiday days i had and i played all day

i should have stayed on mordred at leasy mythic run decent servers there compared to here...

Yeah i played the whole day too, and one extra day in the subscribtion means shit to me... i lost so much because of the rollback

1. I just did my lvl 40 epic (and lvld 40 the same day)
2. I got a drop from barrows, Crackling Ebony Sunderer dps 15.2 Friar staff that glows blue
3. Loads of rps -> lost few RAs

Now i am lvl 38 with crappy staff and everything, im 100% sure i never get that staff again and have absolytely no interest of doing the epic again and lvling

We was in Sheeroe Hills farming drops, we lost two lv 50 rings, 1 lv, some af 46 cloth, and some af 98 chain.. ;(((

I suppose GOA could've looked at the logs and just rolled back the people who profitted from the guy (he obviously didn't), but that would involve something slightly more complicated than plugging a backup disk in.

On a sidenote, the people who did kill him are patently bug abusers, and really should be the ones facing the bans IMO.

If you check the two pics on the link i put into my last reply you see atleast on had hell of a lot more than 1 mithril. Like 65xxx mithril. That would upset the economy.

Well Im glad to say I saw the rollback coming miles away, I was of course still stupid enough to play to 4am but I did it fully aware none of it would last

The benefactors didn't exploit a bug here, they merely killed a high level target (you know you'd liked to have try yourself...) and got suprised by the insane reward.

Full server rollback makes the most sense, as you can go figure not all guilds did as we and collected all bug recieved money on 1 char but probably the opposite and scattered it out over 50 people making the tracking down process vast.

That's more than likely an overflow bug of some sort. They got 141plat for the kill on that pic, so to get 65k mithril would mean he got killed (and was dropped cash) 50000 time or so, which is pretty much impossible

Hey, Mythic does... when some feckers on the US servers abused a bug (buying drops from DF merchants), they shut the server down, went through the logs and gave the cheaters a smack on the head.

But no... we were busy eating croissants and counting our money.
Another day 'for free'?? Are kidding me?

I spent sunday night, my spare time, to play... and everything that I have achieved in this, my SPARE time, is wasted?

Banning the exploiters sound like a bad ideah.
They would have to ban the guy getting lvl 103.
Then they would have to ban all the Avalanche and Epic members that got rp:s from him.
They would also have to ban all members of those guilds that shared the loot from him, etc etc..

No a good ideah.

The fact is, your lucky you got one day free.
Remember, the people that play on the server are the ones that exploited the fact that there was a level 103 running about who was dropping platinum and millions of rps every time he was killed. You may of not exploited this fact, but others did, and since the people that play on the server are the ones responsible for what happens on there (non-technical of course), you brought the rollback on yourselves.

Hmm sounds like a bloody good idea to me , the fucking smock let em farm him.. they did not kill him once but several times , so they should ALL BE BANNED , they bloody well knew it was a bug , and if not they should be banned for being to stupid to play other games than feeking LUDO

You obviously don't understand the way this game or any other MMORPGs work, if you knew the details you would realise that a rollback was the only options.. and if you had played a few MMORPGs i have played... a days rollback... you would be happy it was not 2 weeks...

Do you realise the amount of work it would take to trace all movements of exploiters?
