Roll on 1.48 and a strong Hibernia!

I am an Albion Thuergist but this game needs a strong Hibernia to make RvR work as it is supposed to. So good luck to you all and hopefully 1.48 will make life a little easier for you. Just leave me alone with those damn AE attacks you buggers get Now we just need GOA to get their finger out and actually deliver the patch.

I don't think it is necessarily a question of a stronger hibernia thru patches, but rather thru better balancing of the playing population. We just don't have the same number of people as either Mid (which seems to be full of real-life Scandinavians, so I can see that attraction) or Alb (which is the most finished looking realm, and is full of classes people know and like to play (palladin etc)). Levelwise we're still down on the Mids (don't know about Albs, hardly ever see them) as noticed last night when most of our high levels were involved in the Crauchon keep take and none of them conned purple to Lvl38 whereas at least a quarter of the attacking Mid force was purple con.

At the moment I think that if the Mids/Albs want, they can deny us access to Darkness Falls forever. At which point it wouldn't surprise me to see a mass-exodus from Hibernia.

Really hope that doesn't happen, Hibernia has alot of problems addressed in the latest patches and will be a much more fun realm to play, anyone considering an alt on Prydwen should strongly consider Hibernia, they need the help to make numbers up but the realm is rewarding to play in RvR.

Am I missing something, I just read the patch notes for 1.48 and couldn't see anything that will help Hibernia get stronger...

Is there a change in 1.46 or 1.47 that affects us Hibby's or am I just blind and completely missed/skipped the appropriate patch note?

P.S. I'm Firbolg so I could just be being dumb

I am not an expert on Hibernia so you will have to forgive me but I remember reading that the Hibs on US server were doing much better since 1.48 with regard to RvR. What the details are I honestly don't know, it was just the impression I got from US players postings.

I was talking to an eldritch last night - they have been reading the forums in the US and it seems as tho the patches have reduced the power of our eldritches to such a point that they are no longer that much fun to play.

She is gonna perservere but she finds rvr frustrating at the moment as she doesnt feel able to do nething.

I guess its all about getting those levels.

Me - I am in this to do a bit of rp , wander round me realm, and trade skill so tbh RVR isnt an issue for me. I didnt buy and subscribe to this game for the realm vs realm stuff. I am sure I will use that feature at some point, but at the moment, it really doesnt interest me that much.

Only nerf that hit eldritches was the one that hit all bolt casters and that is that warriors with shields have a VERY big chance of blocking bolts even if they are not engaged with caster and even if they do not block them, the damage is severely reduced. So, all in all, eldritches are complaining that they cannot kill shield tanks as easily as they could before and must now concentrate on archers/casters/light tanks.

Also, what I think was very unfair is that Mythic gave bolts to Fire Wizards of Albion. They now have strongest DDs AND bolts in same spec line which is very unfair to Eldritches and Runemasters alike. But then again, albion classes are much better than most of their Midgard/Hibernia counterparts so why should Wizards be an exception, right?

We dont need alts we need mains

there is no point having an alt on this server as definition we need more main in hib

Unless u think ur alt is going to be lvl 50
