battlecom has definitly better sound quality, rw can run a dedicated server in linux, battlecom is better configured, rw is easier to connect, battlecom and gamevoice only have windows dedicated servers.
Always have problems with battlecomm and gamevoice (well shocking! They are the same program) RW is simpler and IMO faster and more stable. Needs a new version though.
one thing to bear in mind, i'm on adsl and RW works fine (although i can't host )the very latest version of game voice works fine for me, tho the last one didnt lol, have never been able to get B comm to work tho :-( just a warning to ne1 on adsl or any other connection that uses NAT (network address translation) it can b a bit of a biatch :-(
We used to use RW in clan [COB]. When it worked, it worked very well, though sometimes team-mates could only listen in, and not talk ( a blessing as far as Nimbus was concerned ). The people that had the most trouble tended to be those on modems.
I could never get battlecom to work, and I've not tried gamevoice.
Actual prog type apart, the biggest problem we had was with people who had the mike too near their nose, mouth, whatever (along with too high a sensitivity). Hearing very heavy breathing for the duration of a match was a little off-putting!
