If voice comms are going to be turned off (I assume that is still the case?), could someone ask BW if they could put their RW/BC host servers back up.

Why is it that the only ones complaining about the lag with using voice commsare ISDN & cable users?

I use a 56k modem & my ping is better than ever..

My ping usually never tops 200 ... i usually get a ping of 150-175 on Pub servers & 145 when no1 is there!

Hmmm... do you think valve has done something to make TFC more fair by evening out the pings? Conspiracy theory's abound!!

It used to be rw1.barrysworld.com but it's gone now. What with www.rogerwilco.com not seeming to be available as a server anymore either we tried hosting our own servers.

Twinner hosts defense RW on his cable nps. I host offense RW on my ISDN (!) nps. Keep your rate to 3000 or so and you'll be fine, so unless you have all 56kers you should be able to host RW yourself.

However the BW server *was* useful.
