How much?
I heard you can't use the GH3 guitar with it on the PS3.

Cost to me imported was about £130. That includes the £28 customs hit.

Got it from Gamestop in the US, well, actually Barnes and Noble as GS wouldn't accept my CC details.

The whole GH3 usage thing is not something I'm fussed about. The PS3 boxset comes with a lovely wireless fender.

I was considering importing it but after hearing about the amount of people with broken guitars and drums & the fact they now have admitted there was a fault with the first batch of guitars I decided to wait.

The song list is supposedly better than GH3..

The devs of GH3 also seem to be a bit lame in terms of song packs, whilst RB's sound very good.

Also, from the sounds of it the difficulty in GH3 stepped up a fair bit, whilst RB's is a bit less ridiculous and so more fun to tackle.

GH3's gets a bit annoying after a while..

After GH2 i swore to myself i wouldn't put myself through the complete misery of starting songs over and fucking over.

Add to the fact i think most of the songs are complete fucking garbage just nails it for me.

Perhaps its because I never played the first two, but with III I just cba to even try Hard mode.

Medium is plenty of fun (until you've run out of songs).. to manage hard and above it seems you've literally got to learn the songs, and if I wanted to do that, I'd take up an instrument fs ;)

I tell ya something. Crank up the amp. Get someone on guitars and me on drums and this is gaming heaven. You will not have more fun in a game. Going to buy another guitar.

BTW - for some reason, the PS3 has wireless guitars but the 360 version has wired - boo.

Really? I thought it had wireless also :S

Will have two GH guitars by the time this comes out, so am hoping to buy the game and drums individually, if it'll save me teh money (and they let me =/)

Has anyone managed to download the additional tracks for this yet? I can get to the US Playstation Store with a made up address, but I'm stumped when it asks for a US credit card :(

I was well frustrated how games like 'High Velocity Bowling' and 'Pain' were released in the USA Playstation store in December 07 for $9.99 each yet if you live outside the USA, we can not buy them and there is currently no release date for Europe.

However, i found a way to do it that works and i've now got High Velocity Bowling installed and playing on my PS3 here in the UK. (well cool wiii type game)

- Create new user on your PS3

- Create new account for Playstation Store using a valid USA address (google maps can help, i chose a hotel in California)

- That will all work fine and you will now have access to USA store which has much more content. However, you are unable to buy using a non USA registered credit/debit card.

- Log onto EntroPay website. This will allow you to set up a virtual debit card. Choose to have funds in $ when prompted and enter address (I entered my real UK address). Top up some money to your EntroPay account and they will give you your virtual card details.

- Now log back onto PS3 USA store and add items to basket and pay using your EntroPay card details. Leave billing address as any valid USA address.

ENJOY!

Fuck you Exi and fuck Rulke too.

They can't make enough controllers to keep up with demand, same as the original guitar hero. :(

Yeah, I use Entropay as well to grab the fantastic Oasis Pack. Not too keen on the other stuff.

Prices for the UK release are now being rumoured at a wallet busting £150 which makes my importing the PS3 version last year for about £138 even more of a bargain.

That £150 for the full kit?

Are they going to be selling things individually from release or will it be 6 months or something stupid? =/

I only need the drums and the game.. =[

Aye, figured they would, just wondering if they'll be putting a big delay on the separate components like they have with the guitar hero stuff..

On another note, has anyone got the wireless 360 Guitar Hero controller and found the green fret button to be dying sometimes? Any idea what to do about it? =/
