Well, it's been a week now since i took a hiatus, had a few probs adjusting to RL i must say...
went out last friday, usual sleazy townie club...
after a few drinks i feel cocky enuff to try and pull, but get too close to a big mob in the corner, who aggroes me and starts advancing towards me... bolstered by the alcohol i decide to face him down... throw my Labatts Ice at him, but he has high cold resistance and it barely damages him. I try and PB him, but end up with broken glass on my shoe. CRUNCH! he swings his 1H Pint Glass at me, and i start to regret my earlier confidence. Then he turns on his chant, which i can presume is a d-add one ('Come 'ere you fucking bastard ill kill ya... throw a bottle of beer at me...etc etc') and that makes me remember i have half a gram of (Burst of) Speed left, so i use that and sprint towards the zone exit, where a guardian is standing. he sees the aggro mob and, just as i am about to suffer a killing blow, intercepts it and together we put him down.
Deciding the mobs in this spot are too tough for us we retreat to another club, less camped in the corner i swear i spot a PL grp, some as low as lvl 15! after a breif chat with my friends, we decide that (being Hibernians) we will try to focus pull. deciding to send in the most elph looking of my mates (the luri one's barely seeing over ankle level), we isolate a grp and in he goes. After a few minutes of waiting doubt begins to set in... is the focus shield too strong? a mad rust to taunt the mobs off, but alas, we are unable to, and all i get for my troubles is a blast of AOE Cheap Perfume...
after that my mind goes a bit blank...
woke up the next morning next to a troll...
isn't cross-teaming against the CoC?
