This thread shall also be called return of the muppet.
A few weeks back I bought and installed some new RAM...
... and bust my PC.
Oops
Now the repair man has been out and and (being under warranty I had removed my new RAM) and checked out my PC. Seems I had blown the processor, which he has replaced (and upgraded ).
Now I could of damaged the processor when I cleaned up all the dust inside, 2 years worth in fact so maybe it had just overheated. Or maybe I knocked it or maybe the new RAM was bad or badly installed and THAT blew it up.
Q: DO I cut my losses now or see if the RAM is fine and put it back in?
