Chris Reeve showed amazing inner strength after his spinal cord injury. Many would just have given up on life after what happened to him but he battled on all and began fundraising and promoting spinal injury research.

A sad loss to the world.

Was a big fund raiser/campaigner for stem cell research in US/UK and general spinal injuries. He put his name to good use after his tragic accident. Amazing person.

Man dressed up in tights for us (superman), then had the accident, broke his spine, lost the use of everything from the neck down, then did 6 more films.

Something tells me he was more than a tough guy. He was probobly Irish.

he wasnt just Superman.. he was a Super Man.. for using his plight to advance medical research for other people in his situation. Hopefully in times to come others wont have to go through what he did. A truely great guy who entertained me loads as a kid.. esp in Superman 2

Rest in peace Christopher.. your campaigning will continue i'm 100% sure.

i was so sad when i heard he died i really wanted him to walk again he was so determind, folk like him should get flipping medels tbh he didnt just moap about though im sure he was devistated but he used what happed to him to bring the whole spinal chord injury thing to peoples attention, what a guy!
