Seriously, it´s a loss, no doubt. But the world didn´t stop after he died. To be honest, I prefer the way it is.

Actually, you are right about some of his solo stuff, a lot of it is just downright weird but he recorded some absolute belters, such as Jealous Guy, one of my favourite songs.
If you ignore Yoko Ono his solo stuff isn't as bad.

the beatles have survived decades and are still popular now, i didn't even listen to any beatles stuff knowingly until i played beatles rock band and realised i knew and liked most the songs, so many beatles songs have been covered time and again


the spice girls couldnt even span 1 decade and no1 has covered any of thier stuff
