Most of you (well pretty much all the regs) won't know a guy called Chamma.

He was a triber who used to infrequently visit BW and played with me in a clan for UT and Tribes.

He died last week due to a rare blood disease. Cham was a lovely bloke one of the best I ever met. He was VERY young and I'm a bit fucked up to hear this.

RIP [IS]Chamma/[CL]Chamma

I need a drink.

This might come as a bit off, but was he 22 or around that age? Someone i knew (not well but i went to school with his gf/fiancé) died last week of something similar, Italian heritage, good bloke in the few times we met. If so, it's a small world :(

I remember Chamma well. I met him at LAN parties as well as on the Tribes servers and a he was a great bloke to know. I found out from a forum posting Afty made today. Much like you Xtro, I'm a bit cut up about it at the mo. You could say that I am aware of my own mortality right now.

On a more positive note Xtro, drop me a line!!!
It's been too long since we last said "Hi!" :)

silv^ just linked me to this thread... [IS]/[CL]BoNeS here.

I have to say.. I can't believe it. 2 weeks ago or something I joined the CL room in a while and was wondering where he, among others, were. And then I get linked to this.

Chamma was a great guy, I sat next to him at i7 and i2 (I think, if my memory serves me right). He even coined a catchphrase that I use to this day that was used in relation to a theft. 'It'd be rude not to'. Still brings a smile to my face.

Well, I'm going out tonight so I'll be sure to have a pint for Cip.

Also, hi to all the guys who I've known from T1 etc.

Chamma, shame really, i never knew.
And now, there is little for me to do.
All i can do is to write this for those,
who saw his beauty like in a rose.

I hope this ain't taken the wrong way,
i bet there were better words to say.
I can't talk about someone i don't know,
but i respect the dead only way i know how.

I know that many grief in their loss,
but fear not people, he's now with the boss.
I don't know who or what the boss is,
but on greener fields Chamma is, i know this.

So hear these words Chamma, high above.
You left here people, so feel their love.
One day we all might join you there,
where we can play forever with no fear.

Respect to a fellow gamer. Rest in peace.
