I currently have one of these rotting in my vault waiting for the day i lvl a caster. Considering the state of alb casters in rvr not sure ill bother. Also considered saving it for a new necro SC in 1.65, but again given the current changes to necros in 1.67 think ill pass.

Which means I may consider selling it if I feel its worthwhile so the question is

What do ppl rekon its worth?

Stats are

Ring of the Magi
+30 dex, +30 int, +11 power


Give opinions and/or bids imo.

Hm....you can almost wipe away that power...hardly gives anything...so utility is 30 dex / 30 int...

Id guess its worth a plat or two...

Its an okay ring, specialy for a necro due to only having useable stats, probley doesn't have the UV to make other casters choose it

last one i saw went for 2 or 3 plat if i remember maybe a bit more

err, what did they change in 1.67? If they nerfed us back down then it is the nail in the final coffin for me :(

When the pet gets hit, the necros armour can lose con. However they f*cked up and when the pet gets hit it hits -every- piece of the necros armour. There have been reports of people losing 30% dur ON EACH ARMOUR PIECE (i.e. after repairing) after a few hours exp/farming.

Naturally this has brought out all the retards with 'hah its about time necros never had to repair armour' etc etc etc...

Doesnt seem to bother them of course that we -still- cant use procs, charges, half the artifacts, etc etc etc...

There was also a 'fix' that stopped the con buffs, af buffs and abs buffs from effecting the pets abs, causing some ppl to get pwned by yellows and orgs. This apparently was a bug though and should have been fixed by now.Basically mythic are going for the 'ppl whined about this lets nerf it, but we'll ignore the 30 odd bugs that the class has so it still doesnt work' method of sorting things.

I'm really hoping WoW is out before we get 1.67 over here.

Better get that Necro to 50 and all the alts you will ever want pled before 1.67 ;)

Aye they will have added it to stop necros having permanent artifacts but theyve really fked up the implementation (shock horror). A necro using blue con armour says it degraded 4% on all items (and jewlery) in about 3hrs leveling ... also as the 'fix' was undocumented there were some lvl 40 odd necros using af51 cloth drops that have been completly dropped to 70%con in like 20mins without them realising.

Apparently the armour is degrading as if the pet is wearing it .. ie lvl51 stuff on a lvl44 ... with any hit on the pet effecting everything the same. The usual case of lets fix something without testing or even attempting to test it first. Its not like they shoved it on pend, they just ran it straight through onto the servers as part of the patch.

Annoying thing is noone (not even mids/hibs) whinged about this. But properly documented bugs (such as cc problems) that have been known about since day one still arnt fixed and they do this first.

As for the ring .. UV62, only UV40 without the power. Cple of ppl have said its really good .. guess noone agrees and theres not really any demand for it. Will prolly keep it I guess.

Well, that is me officially done then as soon as ToA ships. I keep getting the bug and coming back but at the moment the only thing keeping me here was the prospect of some fun on my Necro. ToA was supposed to help the game but the way it has turned out it is driving people away.
