if so how?

done the encounter, got ring + scrolls, but the demented sages dont want to activate it for meh =/

try all the sages, each one needs a certain sage to give it to

Not meaning to be patronising or anything but just making sure. You have combined the 3 scrolls into a book by putting one on your qb and using it right?
