I logged a problem with RightNow around midnight last night and had an email back at 10.30 am this morning (which would have been 11.30 in France) informing me they had fixed my problem.

I have seen many threads on here moaning about GOA's customer service.

I would say thats damn good customer service :clap:

I had messed up a quest and was unable to continue it. They reset the quest for me.

Yes it was probably a trivial thing to sort out but it was my fault entirely so I didnt deserve or expect such a quick response and fix.

I see many moans about GOA on these boards but very few people make the effort to commend them when they feel they have had good service.

- sub pages not accessable.
- autorenew on old accounts
- letting ppl pay several times for same month
- closing ppl account because they 'thought' it was payed with a stolen card
- 4 months and 10 days behind US patch
- no 3rd server for English.
- no special events like the "football game" or "dungeon switch" for English servers.
- server rollback
- servers sucked for months, English servers got their servers updates last.


did I forgot anything ?

According to a E&E on prydwen I know, that dungeon switch is inc for prydwen at least Oo

afaik, Prydwen server hasn't been upgraded yet.

Well, only that we have had a football game event in midgard/prydwen ^^

Rightnow are good at quest resets, Ill give them that.

Nice to see somebody posting a positive experience. It's very easy to develop a bad view of GOA just by reading complaints here on BW, guess it's logical that the majority of people who post are the ones who are unhappy.

My own opinion is that any company has it's percentage of unhappy customers (rightly or wrongly) and these will always be the most vocal. I'm sure if you tried you could find a whole host of people playing on Mythic's US servers, or Asheron's Call, Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies etc etc, who have the same low opionion of the customer service provided by these operators.

For a company with ~29000 active players at peak times (must be much more than this subscribers), the actual number of seriously unhappy people seems quite low.

I would say that's damn rare...but good for you if you actually got something out of GOA.

Hello, I had a problem with the same kind of thing, it was 2 quests i was doing both unfinished and some how the items i needed for the quests went missing.
I email GOA i think it was and they sent me an email back saying in-game type: /appeal
Now i have done this and nothing works!
Could you please tell me the email address you sent yours too :)

You use Rightnow - go to camelot-europe site and go in through Help then customer support. You don't email anyone. I'm imagining that you probably emailed Mythic as /appeal doesn't work on the euro servers.
