Rift Subforum?

Nice to get a bit of banter going with the Fh folks!!!!
We pushed back our first Defaint raid in gloamwood last night and responded with a 20 man raid through Scarlet Gorge into Stonefield. We took over the Quest hub on the border and pushed down into the main quest town. ened up causing havoc for an hour or so before getting mangled.
Great fun!!!!!!
Edit - if we could just get one forum with the title rift, we can create our own small threads to include the desired subjects! (guilds/servers - rvr chat! class information and advice)

Not meaning to be funny but why bother? These new MMOs come and go, look at Aeon, look at Conan, How many posts concerning these do we see?
The forums have only just been tidied up, give it time before we clutter it up with dead sections again

With the amount of Rift Threads, would it be a good idea to get a RIFT sub-forum up and running maybe?
I'd rather wait and see. No point opening a sub forum only for it to die a few months later and have them remove it again.

If people keep saying it wont last long enough before the release, there wont be any MMO discusion at all lol. So I take there wont be a section for GW2 or ST:ToR any other future ones
No ones going to play Rift for 9 years, but I doubt anyone here will play another MMO for that long except some of us youngsters without RL priorities.
As long as the chat is in one place is fine, would just be nice to see other people opinions and idea's is all.

I wasn't being negative and saying it wont take off but... They've recently pruned (with one of those tractor mounted hedge trimmers) the forums and cut out the dead wood.
Even an active MMO forum (2nd only to DAoC) in Eve lost it's forum.
At the start of an MMO there's a flurry of posts as people decide what they've playing, with who, how and all such funky stuff. These die down after a bit, even if they do get replaced by the day to day sever life posts. If the FH bods stick to Rift then more power to them but as they're currently rationalising the forum structure for a forum port and there's another MMO which has proven longevity and usage on FH then I'd still just say wait a bit and see how it pans out.
I'm not just saying this because I don't like Rift much (though I'll be upfront and say I don't like Rift at all), I'm just looking at it from a rational PoV when considering what else is going on.
