After getting Ultima III on pirate disk from a dude in the States,i bought Ultima IV on import for the 64 in 1985 for £50.00 ! Amazing game at the time. He's the Carl Sagan, the Issac Asimov, a true luminary of the genre !let him be mad, and at one time he was right And UO was the one that really made it back in the 90s.

He's a one hit wonder really, but that being besides the point(and an excellent hit at that), he does have a point. Only thing he forgot to add is that those designers who only think their job is about coming up with features are a bit lazy.

He's certainly not the best designer out there though, but a key feature of a good designer is to think you are

Have a guilty pleasure regarding Ultima IX. All things considered, that game has hell of alot of charm.
